Upsetting mail week.

This is just a short update but I haven't had a great mail week.. wait, not just week, MONTH. I have not gotten a single letter (other than from my mother) in an entire month. Where is everyone?):

Oh and I just bought 20 stamps and left them in TJ Maxx. 

Not a good time for me and mail. Hopefully I will get a letter today to cheer me up.

Antiques and late mail.

Hello again!
I've been very bad at posting and writing lately. I went home for a break last weekend and have been doing a lot of homework since.

Here are some out going from last week, but I didn't talk pictures of all of it because I forgot ):

I this one went to France, I made the weird envelope from a magazine at my school.  

Sorry this is sideways! These went to MA and I forget where the other one went :P

I also forgot to take pictures of my incoming, but maybe I'll remember for my next post!

Not a piece of mail, but mail related! This is in the Library at my school(:

I took a trip to the Cambridge Antique Market today because I want to buy something for my new steampunk character. I've always loved the look of steampunk but I just started buying my own things and I want to start reading steampunk literature. Anyway these are a few things I bought.

Simple mug for coffee in my dorm, and these AWESOME goggles. They come with extra clear lenses and dark ones too. This is my FAVORITE purchase of the day. They don't have a strap though so I have to work on finding one. 

I also bought Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album which I am listening to right now(: These post cards were only $5.00and it came with 55 all written on! I can't wait to go home to PA and add them to my postcard collection. I think I will have over 100 that have been sent.

Hello! I have been rather busy lately. Last week I moved into college and I have officially started my freshman year(: I am going to Emerson College  in Boston and it's basically the happiest place on Earth..well for me anyway XD. It took me three weeks to get these letters out but I finally got to it.

These four are to April in WI , Steph in CA, Adriana in NM, and Maria in Canada.

 These three are for Yana in UT, Kat in AZ, and Jenny in Finland (:

There is three paper stores in walking distance of my school so it's been hard not to spend all of my money there but I did buy this cute pouch that I am saving all of my mail in.

Back from Boston!

I got back from my trip to Boston yesterday and it's bittersweet. I am glad to be home with my family, but I do miss being in my favorite city. It's okay though because I am moving there in less then a month!

I was happy to have some letters waiting for me when I walked in the door.

I apologize for the terrible picture quality. The light blue one is from April I. in WI. The purple and gold one is from Andrew R. who is my orientation leader for college! That letter was a bit of a surpride. The silver one is from Kat B. in AZ. 

I had a great time reading them and I can't wait to sit down and devote my time to write back. 

I also got some post cards(:

That one is from Stephanie who is vacationing in Paris at the moment. I was so excited that she sent me a postcard!

That one is from my music teacher who works at the high school I just graduated from. He is on a trip to Madrid right now.

As you can see, I came home to some goodies(: 

I have started collecting postcards recently and was very eager to go to antique stores when I was in Boston. My friend Sarah and I found the Cambridge Antique Market online and decided to check it out. IT IS AMAZING! Anyone and anything who goes to Boston and likes antiques must go there. This is what I bought:

The polaroid was $8.00 and came with a case and I got 100 postcards for $14.00!! I was so excited. When I went through them a little less then half were written on, and those are the ones I like to collect so I was very happy. They date all the way back to 1906.

I read Youth in Revolt by C.D. Payne during my trip and it inspired me to start a journal. I bought this at Walmart last night(:

I haven't written in it yet but I plan to tomorrow. I love it and can't wait to fill it up.

I will hopefully post again tomorrow with my outgoing letters. Have a good day(:
